About the role
What you'll do
Administrative Support:
Assist in completing employee onboarding tasks for a seamless new hire experience
Manage employee records and maintain HR systems and databases
Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Participate in performance management cycles
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Keep the HRIS (Rippling) updated and maintain all digital files
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review policies and practices
Team up with the Director of People to ensure accurate semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll
Audit and manage company-wide trainings in Rippling for compliance
Prepare metrics and reports on HR effectiveness
Assist with termination paperwork
Prepare and send out new contractor agreements
Assist with weekly All Hands prep and team-wide update emails
Assist with quarterly employee pulse surveys and compile comprehensive insights to share with the Senior Leadership team and company wide
Assist with keeping the internal wiki up to date including U.S. team benefits as well as our internal team benefits
Assist with employees leave of absence paperwork for all state and federal leaves
Assist with developing company-wide trainings in Rippling
Provide general administrative support to the People Operations team
Employee Support:
Support employee relations and address HR policy inquiries
Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs
Guide HR onboarding new hire orientation
Assist employees with benefit enrollment questions
Assist with exit interviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in HR or People Operations
At least 1 year of experience in a startup environment
HRIS experience, preferably with Rippling
Ability to adjust and adapt to change
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Detail oriented

Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:
Base: $84,000 - $100,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
