Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with a proven track record in software quality assurance. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our QA strategy and ensuring the highest quality standards across our SaaS platforms. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to define quality benchmarks, design and maintain testing frameworks, and implement robust testing practices across manual and automated test suites. As a senior member of the QA team, you will also mentor team members, promote best practices, and help build a culture of continuous testing and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing, including exploratory, usability, regression, and edge-case validation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements and user workflows.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for new and existing features.
- Monitor test execution and analyze results, ensuring defects are logged, tracked, and resolved effectively.
- Define and drive QA strategy across products and microservices.
- Ensure automation coverage for critical user journeys, APIs, and integrations.
- Perform technical validations by cross-referencing documentation with application behavior and results.
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.
- Analyze test execution results, identify flaky tests, and continuously improve test reliability and performance.
- Manage test data, environment configurations, and secrets using environment variables and configuration files.
- Lead security efforts by enforcing policies, guiding staff, improving controls, ensuring compliance with standards like SOC 2, and managing audits and risk mitigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Playwright automation using JavaScript.
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test reporting tools.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and release cycles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
