Position Overview:

Responsible for aftermarket sales, account management, and supporting commercial operations. This includes upfront customer identification, contract administration, customer relationship management, quotation for Aftermarket parts, inventory management to meet customer expected lead times.

About the Role – You will:

  • Drive sales of aftermarket parts to meet annual revenue target
  • Serve as the main commercial point of contact for all aftermarket parts support for Proterra, both internally and externally. Ensure all tasks align with the established aftermarket parts practices and procedures. Customize approaches for external customers as required.
  • Own commercial relationship with customers under Aftermarket contracts.
  • Identify and work with Internal team to execute recommended stocking levels for OEM partners.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team and Commercial Operations Manager to improve Sales Order fulfillment and troubleshooting issues related to customer delivery
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to forecast, manage, and consume inventory for Aftermarket demand – to support revenue targets
  • Manage Aftermarket parts contracts, PO, and partnerships with buyers of aftermarket parts – including Dealers, end customers, and ecosystem partners
  • Collaborate with Partnerships to identify and sign new agreements with ecosystem partners that want to buy aftermarket parts
  • Work with Finance, Supply Chain, and team on Pricing to include changes to COGS

Your Experience Includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Engineering, Marketing, Communication and/ or Professional Selling.
  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working at Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on sales, parts management, or operations
  • B2B or corporate sales and/or contract negotiations
  • Experience working with Dealers’ Aftermarket Parts or Parts Departments (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience working with Operations teams such as supply chain, logistics, procurement (preferred, but not required)
  • Self-driven go get attitude
