What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end quality of Schmooze’s features—matching, recommendations, chat, payments, and more.
Design and execute test strategies (manual + automated) to ensure scalability, stability, and performance.
Simulate real-world user behaviors from apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and stress-test edge cases.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, document, and prioritize bugs.
Build automated regression test suites for APIs, backend systems, and user-facing features.
Continuously improve QA frameworks, processes, and best practices.
Be the voice of quality and user experience inside the team.
The Challenges You’ll Tackle
Ensure state-of-the-art Meme Recommendation Algorithms are bug-free, fast, and reliable.
Validate our Matching Algorithm for fairness and engagement (no ghosting bias, no "top 5% only" favoritism 👀).
Optimize real-time messaging + swipes for ultra-low latency.
Build test frameworks to scale quality as user interactions explode worldwide.
What We Look For
Experience: 0–2 years in QA/SDET roles (startup experience = bonus).
Strong knowledge of testing strategies, debugging, and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with distributed systems, async architectures, and real-time data.
Good understanding of user behaviors on Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, etc.
Exceptional organizational skills—able to track, manage, and maintain bug lists.
Strong communicator—can collaborate closely with devs, product, and design.
