Customer Operations Associate | A-Players

A-Players is a fully remote company with a mission to help impact-driven companies succeed more than profit-driven ones.

We are hiring a Customer Operations Associate for one of our U.S.-based clients in the e-commerce and influencer marketing industry. This startup is rapidly scaling, and the CS team is transitioning from a fully manual support model to a hybrid product–automation, operations system. Currently, they are looking for a hyper-organized, systems-obsessed project manager to own and evolve the operational workflows behind our campaign launches.

This isn’t a typical coordination role—this is the person who will design, manage, and improve the end-to-end launch system that the startup's future software will ultimately automate.

You will map processes, spot inefficiencies, build automations, and partner closely with Product to ensure our internal workflows inform the evolution of our platform. Your job is to run today’s launch machine while helping architect the version that will eventually live inside the company's product.

If you’ve ever looked at a manual process and immediately thought, “This should be automated—let me rebuild it the right way first,” this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle—from deadlines to dependencies to handoffs—and ensure each step runs predictably and on time. You’ll manage campaign launches the way a PM manages sprints: with rigor, clarity, and accountability.
  • Maintain and evolve the Airtable Campaign Dashboard as our operational “source of truth,” while continuously identifying what should become a future product feature, workflow, or automation.
  • You will help bridge the gap between how the CS team operates today and what their software will automate tomorrow.
  • You won’t just follow workflows—you will redesign them. Identify friction points, rebuild systems for scale, and create automations that reduce manual work across CS, Product Ops, Creator Support, and Fulfillment.
  • Your frontline insights into campaign operations will help shape future product enhancements. You will proactively propose:
    • workflow automations
    • UI/UX improvements
    • system rules
    • data structures
    • triggers
    • user journeys
  • You take over the admin-heavy workflows—client reminders, tracking, scheduling, dashboard updates—so CS managers focus on strategy, not task execution.
  • You ensure no step is missed, no deadline slips, and all cross-functional teams operate with full visibility.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in English — C1 level spoken and written.
  • Experience with Airtable, project management systems, or automation tools.
  • Natural curiosity about product workflows and system design.
  • Strong operational rigor and a love for improving broken processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows while maintaining impeccable detail and clarity.

Soft Skills

  • Systems thinker with the ability to zoom out and design end-to-end workflows.
  • High ownership and autonomy — able to propose solutions, not just execute tasks.
  • Strong communication, clarity, and ability to align multiple stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and comfort working under fast-paced, dynamic conditions.
  • Detail-oriented and structured — strong documentation discipline.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in influencer marketing, e-commerce operations, or EdTech.
  • Experience working closely with product/technical teams.

  • Performance-Based Growth: Competitive salary with annual reviews tied to your impact.
  • Supportive Environment: Work with a team that values your ideas and expertise.

What Is the Startup Training Program?

Our training is a 2-week, hands-on onboarding phase designed to help you succeed from day one.

During this time, you’ll:

  • Work on real tasks reflecting startup operations — lead research, outreach, and CRM tracking.
  • Receive daily assignments via your personal task board and individual feedback.
  • Learn A-Players' level standards for communication, organization, and client support.
  • Develop your understanding of startup workflows, AI tools, and growth funnels.
  • Gain mentorship from the A-Players' core team and connect with fellow Associates.
  • Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion.

⭐️ The training is not a test — it’s your launchpad for mastering the skills needed to collaborate effectively with U.S. founders and fast-growing startups.

Note: Salary for this position depends on your experience and the results of the test assignment.
