Today, A-Players is a fully remote team with a Ukrainian core, ~$1M ARR, and a clear focus on building repeatable, scalable hiring systems — not one-off placements.

Job description

We’re looking for a Talent Sourcer to own high-quality candidate discovery for the Business Associates (BA) direction.

This role is centered around finding high-signal profiles, not managing pipelines or making final hiring decisions. You’ll identify candidates with real startup potential, interpret patterns beyond job titles, and surface profiles that are worth deeper evaluation.

You’ll work with a wide range of profiles — from generalist operators to more specialized candidates in operations, automation, marketing, and sales. The challenge is not volume sourcing, but understanding context, spotting transferable skills, and distinguishing signal from noise early in the process.

Beyond sourcing execution, you’ll contribute to improving how we identify talent — refining sourcing hypotheses, search strategies, and outreach based on real feedback from interviews and hiring outcomes.

What you’ll do

High-signal sourcing for Business Associates

  • Own sourcing for Business Associates across generalist and more specialized profiles (ops, automation, marketing, sales)

  • Work with existing BA sourcing hypotheses and go deeper: refine them, validate them with data, and expand into new talent pools

  • Focus on signal quality, not volume

Inbound review & early filtering

  • Review inbound applications and identify candidates worth deeper evaluation

  • Apply clear early-stage filters to reduce noise and keep the pipeline focused

  • Maintain structured, decision-ready pipelines in the ATS

Outreach & first-touch communication

  • Craft and send personalized outreach to high-potential candidates

  • Handle first-touch communication and scheduling for next steps

  • Keep communication clear, concise, and professional

Pre-screen interviews (growth path)

  • Gradually take ownership of pre-screen interviews as part of role growth

  • Apply A-Players scorecards and structured questions

  • Provide written signal-focused feedback and recommendations to Team Leads

Data ownership & sourcing analytics

  • Track and own sourcing data: response quality, conversion to pre-screen, pass-through rates

  • Identify patterns in profiles, channels, and outreach that lead to strong candidates

  • Use data to refine sourcing strategy over time

Collaboration with the core team

  • Work closely with the Team Leads, CEO and Ops team on hiring priorities and calibration

  • Share sourcing insights, market signals, and talent trends

  • Adjust focus based on real hiring outcomes

Tools, systems & experimentation

  • Test new sourcing tools, AI workflows, and research methods

  • Spot repetitive steps and collaborate with Ops on automation opportunities

  • Document learnings and turn successful approaches into repeatable practices

Experience

  • 1+ year of sourcing experience (tech, startups, or adjacent fields)

  • Confident with LinkedIn search, Boolean logic, and sourcing tools

  • English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher

  • Ukrainian: fluent or native (required)

Nice to have

  • Experience sourcing for operations, business, or generalist roles

  • Background in research, analytics, or market mapping

  • Experience working in an AI-native way (or strong curiosity to learn)

  • Familiarity with startup ecosystems (US / EU)
