We're looking for a Talent Acquisition expert to initially focus on Business and Director + level roles, and spearhead recruiting across the company. This isn’t a “sit-back-and-manage” type of role – it’s a player-coach position where you’ll recruit for key senior roles yourself, while mentoring the team along the way. If you love building scalable hiring processes, have the experience to avoid pitfalls of hyper growth, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, this is your next play.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the toughest roles. You’ll recruit and close leadership positions across the business, starting with big ones like our Head of Safety.
Coach and lead the team. Think of yourself as the recruiting team’s “tech lead” – offering guidance on closing strategies, sourcing techniques, and building strong partnerships with hiring manager.
Build scalable processes. Help us create recruiting workflows that are consistent, efficient, and easy for everyone to follow – from the first intake meeting to the final offer.
Use data to guide decisions. Keep tabs on funnel metrics, recruiter capacity, and hiring efficiency. Share those insights with the team to keep us improving.
Collaborate with leadership. Work closely with company leaders to align recruiting efforts with business needs and growth goals.

What We’re Looking For

Recruiting chops. You’ve recruited for senior roles in business or tech (or both) – ideally at the Director level and above.
Startup mentality. You move fast, adapt easily, and don’t need a lot of hand-holding.
Technical recruiting experience. You know your way around engineering and product hiring.
Great communicator. You’re comfortable working with everyone, from candidates to executives.
Player-coach style. You lead by example and aren’t afraid to dive into the work yourself.
Future leader. You can scale with us and grow into a bigger leadership role over time.
Mission Driven. You don’t need experience in transportation, but you should be excited about what we’re building at Zūm.

Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The targeted pay range for this role in US CA is: $150-190k
