A World-Changing Company
Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.
The Role
As a FP&A Analyst, you will sit on the Finance team and directly interface with all facets of Palantir’s business. You’ll develop an intimate understanding of what drives Palantir’s success by partnering with key stakeholders to analyze and report on the financial impact of decisions across the company.

Core Responsibilities

  • Use Palantir’s rich internal data to create financial models that surface insights and drive planning
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop budgets, track performance, and manage against OKRs
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to inform financial and operational decisions that enable key initiatives
  • Interface regularly with the revenue team, IR, and management to support quarterly earnings guidance and identify risks and opportunities to our financial outlook
  • Prepare materials for board / investor meetings

What We Value

  • Team members who aren’t satisfied with surface-level answers. We value the desire to dive into the details because that’s the core of our work. Those with a low ego will thrive because the outcome matters more than who gets the credit.
  • You are nimble, scrappy and thrive in chaos. You’re a self-starter, willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle complex problems in creative and unconventional ways.
  • You love meeting new people and building relationships. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are highly proficient in Excel and are eager to learn to work with Palantir’s in-house data tools. While not required, more technical experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (such as SQL, PySpark, Python, R, Matlab) is a plus.
  • You have a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

What We Require

  • Two or more years of experience with financial modeling (such as investment banking, equity research, or consulting), plus at least two years working in finance in an operational setting (preferably at a startup or scaling company)
  • Our benefits aim to promote health and wellbeing across all areas of Palantirians’ lives. We work to continuously improve our offerings and listen to our community as we design and update them. The list below details our available benefits and some of the perks that can be enjoyed as an employee of Palantir Technologies.
