The Role
Palantir's impact and productivity in the UK Government (UKG) space depends on our ability to navigate the world of government and industrial security efficiently and responsibly. We're looking for an Industry Security Analyst who can both arbitrate policy and processes around personnel and clearances, and partner with our business leaders to plan for the future in support of our Ministry of Defence (MOD) mission.
As an Industry Security Analyst, you'll be part of our Mission Security UK Team, which is responsible for managing our personnel clearance program and our secure facilities and systems. The team ensures compliance with security policies, regulations and processes within complex organisations, while also enabling Palantir to get people and resources where we need them most. In this role, you'll provide outstanding knowledge and customer service to the Palantirians who depend on you to help them push the business forward.
Our Industry Security Analysts are tenacious, resourceful individuals who challenge conventional approaches to find better ways to navigate intricate bureaucracies. You'll implement important processes, reimagining and optimising along the way to ensure faster outcomes that align with our customers' compliance requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain security culture in line with MOD requirements, reporting to the Group Security Controller.
  • Establishment and maintenance of all security procedures Sy Ops, ensuring their effectiveness within the business.
  • Take ownership and control of the asset register.
  • Monitor any changes to facility/company and update security policies accordingly.
  • Carry out toolbox talks & training for staff with regards to security policies.
  • Hold authority for control of all security and associated accreditations, compliances and activity across the UK Government business and posts of Security Controller and Atomic Liaison Officer.
  • Undertake all aspects of protectively marked material control and storage and destruction.
  • Full responsibility for documenting and maintaining the Security Policy and Risk Management Accreditation document sets.
  • Manage defence contract obligations and associated actions including logging and distributing Security Aspects Letters, policy management and arranging and conducting audits.
  • Keep up to date on all relevant legislative changes, technological advances and best practice.
  • Take full responsibility for the safeguarding of cryptographic materials, their information and supporting IT consultant in delivery of cyber security environment.
  • Provide security advice and best practice guidance to the business in respect of site locations and business continuity planning.
  • Assist our resourcing, recruitment and people team with security vetting on new staff, review, and routine refresher briefings for all employees.
