The role
The Project Manager of Golden Pacific Bank Division will organize, manage, and plan complex projects and programs. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurements to complete projects both on time and within budget. Provide support to the Bank’s branches, Central Operations Department, and cash management staff and activities. This position also plays a key role in managing compliance by developing procedures, policies, and programs for the Golden Pacific Bank Division.
What you’ll do:
- Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly
- Conduct risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and provide recommendations
for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate) - Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
- Support branch operations, internal audits, and the Central Operations department
- Collaborate with management to manage, develop, implement, and coordinate policies,
procedures, and programs related to deposit product development and management, and other
related functions. - Collaborate with other members of divisional senior management and key functions, including
the Golden Pacific Bank Division President, Compliance, Finance, Credit, and Risk Management. - Partner in the coordination and operations of branch division banking activities training and
supporting branch managers/staff, cash management, and central operations functions. - Respond to branch inquiries regarding day-to-day operations concerning operating
methodologies and problem-solving. - Support staff development and performance.
- Responsible for administration and results of operational branch audits and examinations.
- Contact person for operational vendors and bank technology vendors.
- Prepare and/ or review branch/central operations/division month-end reports, including deposit
reports and operating loss reports. - Maintain, research, and produce operating policies and procedures for all branches and update
as appropriate. - Adhere to bank policies and support SoFi management decisions and goals positively and professionally.
- Represent Golden Pacific Bank and SoFi Bank with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Comply with all Federal and State law. The employee will complete the required training and will be accountable for compliance with all Federal and State laws related to their job description.
- Provide branch coverage and float to service customers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:

- Possess a work ethic that includes honesty, punctuality, and accuracy.
- Knowledge of banking compliance rules and regulations.
- Possess knowledge of US regulations regarding Bank Secrecy (BSA), Treasury Department’s
Financial Records Keeping Regulation, USA Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC),
FACTA- ID Theft Prevention, various other anti-money laundering laws, and fraud prevention and
mitigation. - Possess a valid California Driver’s License.
- High school diploma; College degree strongly preferred but not an absolute requirement.
- Minimum of 10 years of banking or credit union experience.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with IT platforms for financial institutions.● Experience working in the greater Sacramento and Yuba/Sutter markets.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
