The Role

SoFi is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a key pillar of our Mortgage business. In this role, you will define, prioritize, and build innovative capabilities to deliver exceptional experiences for SoFi members as they use our mortgage product to achieve their financial goals.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll work across engineering, design, marketing, finance, sales, and operations to deliver differentiated and impactful mortgage solutions. You’ll inspire with your vision and roadmap, set ambitious goals, and be accountable for delivering results. Your work will bridge the technical and business worlds, creating experiences that delight members and drive business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build innovative, customer-centric mortgage solutions
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and stakeholders to create experiences that delight our members
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, legal, compliance, capital markets, and executive leadership to prioritize impactful product plans
  • Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap and evangelize it across teams
  • Write clear, concise product requirement documents
  • Manage product backlogs and dive deep into execution
  • Leverage data and analytics to deeply understand product performance and identify opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, bringing clarity to ambiguous situations in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Embody SoFi’s values in all aspects of your work

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of product management or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline (technical or non-technical)
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services (mortgage technology experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to summarize complex issues
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM, contact center platforms, and loan operating systems
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver products on time
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executive leadership
  • Analytical mindset with experience working with data to inform decisions.
  • Proactive and accountable approach to work, with strong coordination and planning skills
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Deep customer empathy and a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
