About the Job

A Professional Services Project Manager holds the pivotal role of overseeing the seamless transition of customer relationships from point of sale to production while fostering strong relationships. In collaboration with a team of business and technical consultants, the Project Manager orchestrates the alignment of workstreams with the goals of both the customer and Taulia. This involves meticulous management of project resources, diligent oversight of tasks, timelines, and budgets and proactive engagement in design and strategy discussions. As a trusted advisor within the team, the Project Manager not only ensures project success but also serves as a welcoming ambassador for customers.

Responsibilities

As the owner of a portfolio of customers implementing or enhancing their Taulia solution, the project manager is responsible for:

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within specified budget by providing proactive project leadership that includes effective guidance/ summary on weekly activities, milestones, and timelines

  • Strong relationship, communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills with customer project team and their senior sponsor/executives; Attention to detail, follow through, organization, and proactive planning is required

  • Ability to learn and provide initial consulting on Taulia-specific tasks related to both technical and business tracks of an implementation

  • Understands the Taulia organizational structure, communication and escalation path to follow up with other departments

  • Advise on customer program readiness needs and leading practices related to successful Taulia programs

  • Ability to demo the software, conduct both a customer workshop and system knowledge transfer; ability to oversee and assist with test planning, execution, and troubleshooting leading to solution acceptance and sign-off

  • Proactively own administrative tasks that include, but are not limited to, project hours/utilization, project plans, project tracking/reporting, change requests, and organization of project folders. Also identifies and assists with updates to team playbook and documentation

Required travel up to 25%

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

  • 7+ years prior professional work experience is required; some of which includes experience as a project manager
  • Experience in B2B software or in enterprise, global, or large-scale projects

  • Exceptional communication skills: written, verbal, and active listening

  • Credible, confident, and influential; ability to drive meaningful change at different levels of an organization

  • Self starter, problem solver, strategist, and critical thinker; Organized and detail-driven, but master the big picture

  • Personable and able to develop and maintain strong relationships; Calm and cool under pressure with experience in handling of difficult conversations

  • Flexibility; embrace change and thrive in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience with project management tools, preferred (e.g. project plans, resource management, status reporting, forecasting)
