About the Job
Taulia is looking for a Product Owner to help us create world class solutions that help every business thrive by liberating cash locked in the financial supply chain.
Tauila delivers innovative invoicing and receivables financing solutions that enable our customers to achieve their working capital and cash management goals. In this role, you will help define and execute on the product vision for our integration to customers running on multiple accounting platforms, helping grow the Taulia network exponentially across businesses of all sizes.
You will have a major impact on the growth of the company by working closely with peers across product, engineering, and customer success. Each Product Owner at Taulia has primary responsibility for distinct components - while working in a highly collaborative environment to evolve our platform and deliver value to our clients. Your success will be measured by delivering on commitments, exceeding client expectations, and doing both with integrity and respect for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the Platform Fundamentals backlog end-to-end: roadmap, prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, release readiness.
- Translate requirements coming from SAP central teams, legal and privacy, and security into work the team can deliver against — and that customers can actually adopt.
- Define and track success metrics for foundational work: MFA adoption, signup conversion, KYB pass-through rate, integration provisioning time, localization coverage, PX KPIs, audit findings closed.
- Lead discovery on compliance- and security-driven initiatives where the "must" is set externally but the user experience still has to be great
- Drive the team's product analytics and instrumentation strategy across so the rest of Product can make data-informed decisions.
- Coordinate cross-team work with the SAP ERP Integrations team, the Architecture team, and central SAP groups (BTP, Joule, S/4 integration, identity). Most initiatives in this space cross at least two teams.
- Run sprint ceremonies and keep delivery predictable across distributed teams.
- Partner with engineering on technical tradeoffs that have product consequences — authentication standards, tenancy boundaries, identity protocols, framework upgrades — and represent those tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent Platform Fundamentals to Taulia and SAP leadership in roadmap reviews, compliance forums, and architecture councils.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
- 3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on platform, identity, or foundational user-experience products in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- Proven track record shipping foundational work where the "win" is enabling other teams, not delivering a direct customer-facing feature.
- Strong written and verbal communication. A lot of this job is making compliance, identity, privacy, and instrumentation work legible to engineers, executives, customers, and auditors — often in the same week.
- Experience driving discovery and prioritization on work where the requirement originates from compliance, legal, privacy, security, or a partner organization rather than a customer interview.
- Solid technical literacy. You don't have to write the code, but you need to read an API spec, reason about an OAuth or SCIM flow, look at analytics event taxonomy, and tell when a technical answer is incomplete.
- Comfort operating in a matrixed environment with distributed teams across multiple time zones and multiple management chains.
- Ability to balance long-lived foundational programs against tactical compliance commitments without letting either drop.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years in product ownership or product management, with at least 1 year on platform, identity, user-lifecycle, or compliance-driven products.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, supply chain finance, or enterprise B2B is strongly preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager inside SAP — or owning the SAP integration on the partner side. Familiarity with SAP BTP services (IAS, IPS, SCIM, Destination Service, AI Core), SAP Northstar Architecture, the SAP Business Network, and SAP product compliance requirements (LPR tiering, PX KPIs) is a significant plus and hard to get anywhere else.
- Familiarity with Joule and the SAP agentic AI stack — including working knowledge of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, tool-enabled agents, and the product considerations around building reliable AI experiences (evaluation, grounding, fallback behavior, human oversight).
- Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms and event taxonomy design.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA integration, CIG, SAP Ariba, or other SAP procure-to-pay / order-to-cash products.
- Experience with KYB / KYC vendors, sanctions and watchlist screening, or financial crime compliance programs.
- Experience with cookie consent, GDPR/CCPA implementation, or other privacy programs at a global enterprise.
- Experience with internationalization, localization, and translation programs across a multi-tenant product.
